GET HOOKED ON THE ALABAMA RIVER.
The Hooked on the Alabama River Festival of Fishing Lures features oversized fishing lures that are:
- Sponsored by local and national businesses, organizations and individuals
- Creatively transformed to works of art by local artists
- Used to promote the most spectacular natural resource in our area: The Alabama River
- Unveiled at the Festival of Fishing Lures at the Riverfront Amphitheatre in downtown Montgomery
- Displayed in Montgomery and Prattville in selected locations
All proceeds will benefit the Alabama River Clean Water Partnership to maintain the health and integrity of the Alabama River system locally and educate businesses and private citizens about the impact their actions have on its viability.
LURE SELECTION
Keeper Sponsors will receive:
- First round choice of artist design
- First round choice of approved location
- Possession of lure after completion of festival
- Logo on all map brochures
- Logo and link on project website
- Recognition on lure nameplate
Catch & Release Sponsors will receive:
- Second round choice of artist design
- Logo on all map brochures
- Logo and link on project website
- Recognition of nameplate
